Scottsdale Dance Lesson Spicces Up Marriage

by Jim Blowganza

When you've been married to someone for eighteen years, it is easy to fall into familiar but perhaps boring routines. My wife and kids and I had such predictable lives that if it were Wednesday, we already knew what was for dinner. The kids had their own sporting events that were as regular as clockwork. Even Sunday brunch at the club had lost its appeal. We realized that we needed to do something different to bring some new energy into our lives.

I made quite a few suggestions. We live in Scottsdale and there are unlimited opportunities for leisure time activities. I recommended that we take golf lessons or music lessons. My wife had something else on her mind. She wanted us to take a Scottsdale dance lesson. You see we were going to get out of our rut by taking a Scottsdale dance lesson.

At first the thought of dance lessons in Scottsdale didn't appeal to me. You see, I'm not that light on my feet and quite frankly had little desire to dance. I'm not Fred Astaire, actually, I'm more like Fred Flinstone. So the thought of a Scottsdale dance lesson was less than appealing.

I'd never mastered dancing even though I participated in sports all my life. Running and jumping seemed to come natural, but then I didn't have to think about which foot goes first on those. I only agreed to dance lessons at Scottsdale to please my wife and lift our spirits. Soon I would know the difference between a rumba and a waltz.

Taking Scottsdale dance classes may have been the best thing we've done together. We were initially pretty nervous being slightly older than your usual dance students. But we felt pretty comfortable once we were paired together. Our instructor was patient at showing us the basic step and was really funny making the class enjoyable.

We'd use the time following each dance lesson as a date time, going out for something to eat or to see a movie together. We've gained enough confidence now to even attend local dance functions. Not only has it livened up our erstwhile stagnant relationship, but it's provided us with a relatively inexpensive new hobby. I love it when we go to a dance at the country club and I can proudly dance my wife all around the floor. Who'd have ever thought that a Scottsdale dance lesson would lead us to this?

The couple who have been married for 18 years get tired of their routinely life. They want to have a change. Though he husband suggested activities to engage, the wife wanted to take the Scottsdale dance lessons. The husband was hesitant at first since he doesn't know how to dance but decided to go for it to make his wife happy. The Scottsdale dance class experience both give them time to be together. It became their dating time. They even gained confidence that they even attended local dance functions. The dance lesson Scottsdale definitely livened up their relationship again.
