Healthy Skin with Essential Nutrients

by Valerie DeVette

Nutrients such as vitamins and essential fatty acids (EFAs) are a vital element of a healthy body. Hormones and antioxidants can come as vitamins. Vitamins also regulate the growth of both cells and tissue. EFAs can also affect cell signaling and regulate swelling.

The right intake of vitamins and EFAs is essential for the maintenance of the skin, the largest organ of the body. Fortunately for us, nature provides us with a type of oil that contains both vitamin A and EFAs. This product is Rose Hip Oil and it has been shown to have a positive effect on different skin types and skin problems.

Rose Hip Oil is made from the seeds located within the hips of a wild rose bush that grows in the fertile, rainy plains of the Southern Andes of Chile. Chileans know it as 'Rosa Mosqueta' while it is scientifically known as 'Rosa Affinis Rubiginosa'. Since its discovery over 25 years ago, this oil has been used by both the cosmetic and dermatology industries.

Rose Hip Oil is a moisturizing remedy for dry skin. The recommended therapy for acne called Retin-A is derived from vitamin A. Less potent, over-the-counter solutions, retinols, are sold and used as anti aging skin cream products.

Rose Hip Oil Contains Vitamin A

Consuming more than the daily suggested intake of vitamin A won't improve your skin. However, if you consume just slightly less than what is needed, you will see that malnutrition in your complexion, including dry, flaky skin. Without vitamin A, your body cannot properly maintain and heal skin tissue. Without enough vitamin A in your skin, you will notice some changes. You can increase your intake of fruits and vegetables for more vitamin A as they are filled with it. Topical vitamin A brings forth a real difference in your skin.

Research has shown that the use of vitamin A reduces fine lines and wrinkles, alleviates acne and psoriasis problems. Rose Hip Oil is the natural skin care product that has been found to contain trans-retinoic acid, a form of vitamin A with high bio availability. A topical application of Rose Hip Oil will undo the damages caused by chronologic aging and photo aging.

As Rose Hip Oil contains the bioavailable form of vitamin A (trans-retinoic acid), it is a natural alternative to medications Retin-A, Renova and Tretinoin, which help remedy dry, photo aged and wrinkled skin. Rose Hip Oil also contains the essential fatty acids which aid the body in sustaining healthy skin cells.

EFAs and Rose Hip Oil

Essential fatty acids are important in the formation of our skin's intrinsic oil barrier; if lacking, our skin can be flaky, become inflamed easily and form white and/or black heads. If your body does not have the right supply of EFAs, it begins to create a harsher form of sebum (oil), which is a root cause for many acne problems.

Rose Hip Oil's main ingredient is a natural type of vitamin A that has anti-inflammatory and regenerative skin properties. This bio skin care product enhances blood irrigation, increases the epidermis regeneration and the ability to create new tissue.

Research has shown that trans-retinoic acid prevents skin damage from sun exposure. Scientists have discovered that even brief exposure to sunlight increases the activity of enzymes that destroy the proteins collagen and elastin that confer structural firmness for the skin. Products including trans-retinoic acid decrease the activation of these enzymes.

Research has also shown that Rose Hip Oil has cicatrizing and healing actions on accidental, dermal layer and post-surgery scars. Additionally, it also reduces hyper-pigmentation, smoothes away hypertrophia (scar overgrowth) and relaxes fibrous chords. These actions combined reduce almost completely even the most stubborn scars.

You can start treating scars, wrinkles, acne, dry and sun damaged skin naturally with a skin care solution made from the secretions of the Helix Aspersa Muller, or more commonly known as the garden snail. This special lotion restores collagen and elastin, returning the skin to its youthful elasticity and firmness. If you want a healthy skin carecream, choose BIOSKINBALM; that together with rose hip oil nourish and rejuvenate your skin.
